Their Story

Chuck and Nelly are a fun-loving couple who wanted a casual beach wedding during the summer. They didn’t want uptight formality but instead chose a laid-back celebration of their love and relationship.

One of the biggest concerns people have who are getting married at this time of year is our afternoon thunderstorms. But Chuck and Nelly weren’t worried about those.

The thing about the storms is that they come on dramatically but leave quickly. Sometimes it rains in one area of the beach and not on the other.

These dramatic the storms and the clouds that bring them, create some of the most amazing wedding photographs with the sun poking out from behind the jagged cloud formations. The dark majestic blues and blacks of the skyline highlight the beauty of the water and sand.

The Decorations and Style

The bride and groom wore white casual cotton ensembles that were comfortable and gorgeous even with the high temperature.

Nelly wore a wreath of flowers in her hair and carried a bouquet of mixed flowers in cool shades of blue and purple. Her bejeweled sandals were the perfect foot attire for a beach wedding. Chuck also wore sandals

They were married under a gossamer frame. The gentle breezes caught the shears and made them appear as if they were dancing in celebration.

The Cake

Chuck and Nelly’s cake was a three-tiered confection with a pale purple tint that matched the wedding colors.

The Ceremony

The bride was escorted down the tiki torch-lined aisle by two handsome young men. And the couple said their vows amid petal-covered sand. After they were pronounced man and wife, Chuck lifted Nelly in a triumphant display.

This couple may have waited a long time to be together but they knew what they wanted in this casual beach wedding. We just love a happy ending.
